It started with one observation.

Fabian Thorpe built and ran operations across investment banking and venture before founding T&S. The same pattern showed up again and again in founder-run businesses. The founder was not short of strategy or talent. They were short of an operating layer. The work that held the business together had nowhere to live except the founder's own head. T&S was built to give that work a home.

The mission

Give founders the layer they need first.

To give founder-run businesses the operating layer they need. Not advice that leaves on a slide. Not software that sits unused. A system, installed and run, until the business genuinely runs on it.

The market problem

The wrong choice, made too often.

A founder feeling the strain has two visible options. Hire a COO: expensive, premature, and hard to brief into a business that lives in one person's head. Or buy more software: capable, but software does not run an operation on its own. Most founders choose one, and it does not hold. The real first move is the operating layer.
